"We all know that we're going to miss Nick for at least the beginning of the season," Acta said. IF Travis Lee and IF Larry Broadway will compete for the starting job until Johnson returns.

He left in place of a pinch-hitter when his spot was due up in the bottom of the inning. Afterwards, Lee said he would be ready to play Monday, Aug. 21.
