Chicago White Sox 1B Paul Konerko (hand) is expected to return this weekend against the Tampa Bay Rays. He's been out since breaking his left hand Sept. 2. "Give him a couple of at-bats and if he's up for it he can probably DH one of those games and see how it feels," manager Robin Ventura said.

Chicago White Sox 1B Paul Konerko (hand) experienced normal soreness after taking 30-40 swings while hitting off a tee and doing soft toss Saturday, Sept. 13. He is expected to return to action against the Kansas City Royals or Tampa Bay Rays this week.

Updating a previous report, Chicago White Sox 1B Paul Konerko (hand) is out indefinitely due to a fractured bone in his left hand. He is sidelined indefinitely. Konerko is expected to resume baseball activities in a week, and manager Robin Ventura expects him to play again this season.

Updating a previous report, Chicago White Sox 1B Paul Konerko (hand) is expected to miss at least a week because of his fractured hand, according to manager Robin Ventura. Ventura said he hopes Konerko will be able to return at some point this season. Konerko can't do any more damage to the hand if he plays.
