Tue, 09 Dec 2003 15:57:27 -0800 The Associated Press reports the St. Louis Cardinals signed 1B/OF Steve Cox (Japanese League) to a one-year deal. Cox, 29, gets paid $375,000 if he's in the majors and $125,000 if he's in the minors.
