Jim Street, of Mariners.MLB.com, reports Seattle Mariners C Dan Wilson (knee) came back for one inning Friday, Sept. 30. Wilson will retire at the end of the season but remain with the Mariners front office. The team announced there will be a Dan Wilson Day held at Safeco Field next April.

KIRO7 TV in Seattle, Wash. reports Seattle Mariners C Dan Wilson (knee) could catch close friend SP Jamie Moyer Friday, Sept. 30. Wilson, who is retiring after the season after missing much of 2005 with a torn ACL, would only catch an inning or two because he's not ready to hit.

The Sports Network reports Seattle Mariners C Dan Wilson (knee) suffered a torn ACL in his right knee Wednesday, May 4, that could keep him out the rest of the season and end his career. He was placed on the 60-day disabled list.
