The Arizona Republic reports Arizona Cardinals head coach Dave McGinnis said that he doesn’t plan on making any major lineup changes for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions despite losing six games this season. McGinnis said that he thought the problem was execution, not personnel or effort. The only lineup change McGinnis is contemplating is starting Steve Bush, who was signed last week, at tight end for Tywan Mitchell. McGinnis said that he liked Bush’s inauguration and will be the tight end if Mitchell does not block better.

The Arizona Republic reports the Arizona Cardinals will not pursue a TE at this time due to their cap situation. "Cap-wise, we're not able to bring a veteran in here," coach Dave McGinnis said. "And with the injury situation we're in at other positions, it's hard to find a position to cut somebody in order to bring somebody in." With starting TE Terry Hardy (shoulder) out two to three weeks, the Cardinals will rely on Tywan Mitchell, who has caught eight passes in two NFL seasons. His backup will be FB Dennis McKinley.

The Associated Press reports Arizona Cardinals coach Dave McGinnis said TE Terry Hardy (shoulder) is undergoing an evaluation to determine the extent of his injury. He bruised his right shoulder on the first Cardinals drive during yesterday's game. Tywan Mitchell, who is not as sure-handed as Hardy, would have to start if Hardy is OUT. McGinnis said fullback Dennis McKinley, who sat out the last two games with a sore hamstring, might be moved to tight end as Mitchell's backup. If that happens, the team may also have rookie RB Marcel Shipp active this week.
