Fri, 25 Dec 2009 05:16:53 -0800 The Associated Press reports free-agent RP Chan Ho Park (Phillies) has filed a lawsuit against former teammate C Chad Kreuter accusing him of failing to fully pay off a $460,000 loan. The suit claims Park loaned Kreuter $460,000 in October 2005 to be repaid a year later with interest. Park alleges Kreuter paid back $290,000 in April 2007 and the unpaid balance has grown, with interest, to $281,869.73 as of Dec. 1.
Sun, 04 Jun 2006 13:28:48 -0700 Chad Kreuter, manager of Class-A Modesto in the Colorado Rockies' farm system, has decided to return to the University of Southern California, to become their head baseball coach, according to Matthew Borenstein, for Colorado.Rockies.MLB.com. This was Kreuter's first year with the organization; last year, he had served as USC's director of baseball operations. Kreuter is replacing his father-in-law, Mike Gillespie, as the Trojans' head coach.

Pallasch reports a fan falsely accused of disorderly conduct in a 2000 brawl in the stands of Wrigley Field involving former Los Angeles Dodgers C Chad Kreuter was awarded $475,000 from the Chicago Cubs in a lawsuit Monday, June 16. Ron Camacho, 33, was also awarded $300,000 from the Dodgers in February 2003.

Kreuter, who is pitcher Chan Ho Park's personal catcher, was told of the move after Sunday's game. Because the Rangers were off Monday, they said his removal from the roster will take effect Tuesday.
Thu, 10 Apr 2003 23:57:20 -0700 According to Bill Campbell of The Dallas Morning News, the Texas Rangers plan to make a roster move after Friday's game to make room for Ryan Drese, Saturday's scheduled starting pitcher in Seattle. The club had carried an extra position player when it only needed four starting pitchers, and a position player will either be optioned, reassigned or released. The top candidate appears to be reserve catcher Chad Kreuter, who will be in the lineup for Chan Ho Park's start Friday.
