Former MLB C Todd Hundley has been named in the Mitchell Report. Personal trainer and former employee of the New York Mets Kirk Radomski said that he sold Hundley Deca-Durabolin and testosterone on three or four occasions.

The New York Post's Mark Hale reports New York Mets OF Carlos Beltran hit his 40th home run on Sept. 11 against the Florida Marlins, joining C Todd Hundley (1996) and C Mike Piazza (1999) as the only Mets to homer 40 times in a year.

The Los Angeles Times reports Los Angeles Dodgers C Todd Hundley (hip/back) underwent surgery Tuesday for cartilage damage in his left hip. He will begin to rehabilitate his hip in a couple of days while continuing to rehabilitate his back, which required surgery in November.

The Associated Press reports Los Angeles Dodgers C Todd Hundley (back/hip) will have surgery to repair torn cartilage in his right hip Tuesday, May 11. Dodgers manager Jim Tracy said Hundley felt discomfort in his hip while rehabilitating from back surgery, and an MRI exam confirmed the injury.

The Los Angeles Times is reporting Los Angeles Dodgers C Todd Hundley (back) might require his third back operation in less than a year, probably ending hope of the $6.5-million reserve playing this season. Hundley is experiencing hip pain, which the Dodgers said was caused by his ongoing back problems.

Updating a previous item, the Long Beach Press-Telegram's Rich Hammond reports the availability of injured Los Angeles Dodgers C Todd Hundley (back) for Spring Training won't be known until at least March 1, when he meets with Dr. Robert Watkins in Phoenix. There is a chance he will miss all of Spring Training. "He recently had some irritation in the nerve root," said team physical therapist Pat Screnar, "and Dr. Watkins has decided to back off on therapy and take it easy for the next few weeks."

The Associated Press reports Los Angeles Dodgers C Todd Hundley (back) will not join the Dodgers' pitchers and catchers when camp opens Thursday, Feb. 19, after experiencing a setback while recovering from his second back surgery. Hundley underwent surgery Nov. 25 to repair a herniated disc an operation that was undisclosed until Wednesday, Feb. 18. Hundley underwent surgery June 5 to fix the same disc.

The Associated Press reports Atlanta Braves C Javy Lopez hit his 42nd home run Saturday, Sept. 27, breaking the single season home run record by a catcher set by Dodgers C Todd Hundley in 1996 while with the New York Mets.
