The San Diego Padres have extended the contracts of vice president/assistant general managers Fred Uhlman Jr. and Jason McLeod through the 2013 season. They have also promoted A.J. Hinch to vice president/assistant general manager. Hinch, who had been hired by the Padres last September as vice president of professional scouting, also has a contract that runs through 2013.
