Romero and Bray landed on the minor league disabled list; Romero with stiffness in his left shoulder and Bray with a shoulder injury. Romero has started a throwing program, but can opt out of his deal if he's not in the majors by June 1. Bray was fixing mechanical issues in the minors before he landed on the DL, but his returns had been positive. Garcia suffered a partially torn tendon in his forearm this spring, but the team's plan to stretch him out has remain unchanged.

Matusz will pitch out of the bullpen for now. Flaherty is in the lineup hitting ninth Friday.
