The Baltimore Orioles have signed free-agent RP J.C. Romero (Cardinals) to a minor league deal. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. He will be reporting to Triple-A Norfolk.

The St. Louis Cardinals bullpen appears to be set heading into the regular season. Barring any late changes or injuries, Ps Mitchell Boggs, Scott Linebrink, Kyle McClellan, Jason Motte, J.C. Romero, Marc Rzepczynski and Fernando Salas appears to comprise the team's seven-man bullpen.

St. Louis Cardinals Ps Mitchell Boggs, Maikel Cleto, Chuckie Fick, Jaime Garcia, Kyle Lohse, Victor Marte, Adam Ottavino, J.C. Romero, Eduardo Sanchez and R.J. Swindle each threw batting practice Wednesday, Feb. 29. Lohse drew the 'A' hitting group, facing 1B Lance Berkman, C Yadier Molina and OFs Carlos Beltran and Matt Holliday.

St. Louis Cardinals RPs J.C. Romero and Marc Rzepczynski constitute the left side of the team's bullpen heading into spring training. RP Kyle McClellan might also be in the mix, especially for his success against left-handed hitters, if he isn't dealt in the spring.
