Quinn, of ESPN.com, report Washington Nationals general manager Jim Bowden and special assistant Jose Rijo are being investigated by Major League Baseball and the FBI for their possible roles in a financial scandal involving players from the Dominican Republic, according to sources. The scandal allegedly involves the skimming of signing money allocated for Dominican prospects. Bowden denies being involved in the scandal. "No, I've certainly not gotten that approach from baseball or the FBI. There's obviously no truth to that. As far as the rest of this goes, they're probably better questions for the FBI or baseball," Bowden said. Anyone implicated in this scandal could face felony fraud charges, according to sources.
