Phillies | Lidge may need to undergo minor elbow surgery Philadelphia Phillies CL Brad Lidge (elbow) may need to undergo minor arthroscopic surgery on his right elbow, according to David Murphy of the Philadelphia Daily News. Lidge experienced occasional pain in the elbow during the season, which could have been caused by loose bone fragments. Lidge is expected to be ready for spring training regardless of whether or not surgery is performed.
