"I feel like I have a lot to offer, but I see the way that (they're) going and how the organization wants to go," he said. The Toronto Sun reports Toronto Blue Jays RP Billy Koch struggled in his mound outing Saturday, March 5, prompting pitching coach Brad Arnsberg to suggest a few delivery changes. "At least today he threw the ball over the plate," Arnsberg said. "The other day, he was erratic -- up and down, in and out. He was challenging hitters today. He got out of there in 14 pitches and got his three outs, but of course there were three runs. At least he was challenging hitters and he's at least aggressive in the zone."

Ian Harrison, of Bluejays.MLB.com, reports Toronto Blue Jays RP Billy Koch will be given a chance to compete for the closer's job, although he hasn't been told what his role will be. Koch has 163 career saves, but only 19 of those have come in the last two years. Despite losing a few miles off his fastball, Koch says he has learned to pitch and not just throw. "Velocity doesn't really mean anything," said Koch. "It's all about location."
