Dejan Kovacevic, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, reports the Pittsburgh Pirates are prepared to buy out the contract of P Byung-Hyun Kim for $300,000. The Pirates must buy out Kim's contract by 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, before his $850,000 contract becomes guaranteed.
