Asencio first complained his elbow was sore and swollen on May 17, two day s after pitching, but a subsequent MRI exam came back negative. However, it wasn’t until May 21 that Asencio was able to bend his arm. Asencio had been scheduled to start Wednesday, but SP Chris George instead started.
