Baltimore Orioles SP Randy Wolf (elbow) will undergo Tommy John surgery on his left elbow next week. He'll miss the entire 2013 season. However, he did not say that his career is over. "I won't be able to pitch until 2014, and yes, I will pitch in 2014," Wolf wrote. Wolf will have the surgery Tuesday, Oct. 30. He'll be a free agent this winter and isn't expected back with the Orioles.

Baltimore Orioles OF Endy Chavez, SS Bill Hall, 1B Nick Johnson, OF Nate McLouth, SP Joe Saunders, DH Jim Thome and SP Randy Wolf are all eligible for free agency following the season. The Orioles likely will make a run at McLouth, Saunders and perhaps Thome. The rest are likely gone.

Baltimore Orioles SP Randy Wolf (elbow) will likely need to undergo a second Tommy John procedure for a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow. Wolf had his first Tommy John surgery back in 2005. He went 2-0 with a 5.28 ERA for the Orioles this year.

The Baltimore Orioles placed SP Randy Wolf (elbow) on the 60-day disabled list Wednesday, Sept. 26, and recalled INF Bill Hall from the minors in a corresponding move. Wolf is dealing with a tear in the ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow. He is considering whether to undergo his second Tommy John procedure, which would keep him out all of next year.
