Updating a previous report, the Los Angeles Dodgers are considering inviting free-agent RP Jeff Weaver (Dodgers) to spring training, according to MLB.com's Ken Gurnick. He would be a long shot to make the team and would need to agree to pitch in the minor leagues.

Updating previous reports, Los Angeles Dodgers RP Jeff Weaver (finger) was pulled from the game Thursday, June 3, after warming up due to a blister on the middle finger of his right hand, ESPNLosAngeles.com's Tony Jackson reports. Manager Joe Torre said it was a precaution to keep the blister from opening.

Los Angeles Dodgers RP Jeff Weaver (unknown injury) was brought in to replace SP Hiroki Kuroda in the sixth inning Thursday, June 3, against the Atlanta Braves. The Associated Press reports Weaver injured himself making his warmup tosses and was taken out with an undisclosed injury after a visit by trainer Stan Conte and manager Joe Torre.
