Dr. James Andrews performed the surgery and also took a bone spur out of Tucker's elbow. The timetable for Tucker's return is mid-2006.

The surgery will be performed by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala. Tucker is not expected to be back on a mound until July 2006, according to Bill Ladson of Nationals.MLB.com.
