Updating earlier reports, the Associated Press reports the Cincinnati Reds have voided SP Corey Thurman's minor league contract because of a pre-existing medical condition. Thurman, 25, went 1-1 with a 6.46 ERA in three starts and three relief appearances for Toronto last season and 6-4 with a 4.27 ERA in 16 starts and one relief appearance for Triple-A Syracuse. The Reds didn't release any details of the right-hander's medical condition.
