Dodgers | Tim Redding to open season at Triple-A

Updating previous reports, Los Angeles Dodgers SP Tim Redding (back) will remain in Arizona and start the season at Triple-A Albuquerque, according to MLB.com's Ken Gurnick. He said he felt fine Sunday, March 27, although his scheduled bullpen session was pushed back to Monday, March 28. Redding believes the back pain that caused him to leave his most recent outing prematurely was due to a cramp or spasms as opposed to a strain. He is tentatively scheduled to start against the San Diego Padres April 10.
