Kansas City Royals SP John Parrish (shoulder) felt discomfort in his shoulder while pitching for Triple-A Omaha Sunday, June 13, and was forced to leave the game, according to The Kansas City Star's Terez A. Paylor. Parrish will rehab his shoulder for the next seven to 10 days and could resume throwing at the end of that time.

"We're throwing bullpens now," Parrish said. "Hopefully, it's not too long now. We're just gonna throw two more bullpens on the trip (to Boston) and then evaluate and see where we are."
