Toronto Blue Jays RP Casey Janssen will take over as the interim closer until RP Sergio Santos (shoulder) returns from the disabled list. RPs Jason Frasor, Darren Oliver and Luis Perez will serve in middle relief, and RP Francisco Cordero will fill in where needed.

Fantasy Tip: Janssen should be added in the short term if you're hurting for saves at this juncture, but keep in mind that Santos will probably be back in another two to three weeks - he resumed throwing yesterday - unless he suffers a setback. Cordero can safely be dropped in most leagues.

The Toronto Blue Jays' projected 2012 bullpen is expected to include RPs Jason Frasor, Casey Janssen, Jesse Litsch, Darren Oliver, Luis Perez, Sergio Santos and Carlos Villanueva. Ps Chad Beck, Joel Carreno and Danny Farquhar will also be in contention for a bullpen spot.

With the Toronto Blue Jays' acquisition of RP Jason Frasor, the team currently has 40 players on its 40-man roster. They are expected to make another roster move in the next several days to create space for RP Darren Oliver.

The Toronto Blue Jays agreed to a one-year deal with free-agent RP Darren Oliver (Rangers) Friday, Dec. 30. The deal includes a team option for the 2013 season. Financial terms weren't disclosed.
