Thu, 06 Nov 2008 10:52:20 -0500 Updating a previous report, Anthony DiComo, of MLB.com, reports the New York Yankees would only consider re-signing SP Andy Pettitte if he agrees to a one-year deal at less than the $16 million that he has earned the last two seasons, according to Newsday. The Yankees also do not plan on meeting with Pettitte about returning until they know whether free-agent SP Mike Mussina (Yankees) will pitch next year.
