Vincent Bonsignore, of the Los Angeles Daily News, reports Los Angeles Dodgers SP Eric Milton (back) underwent microdiscectomy on his lower back Tuesday, July 14. The procedure went as expected and the disk herniation was removed. Milton is expected to be out for at least three months and will start the first part of his rehab program in the next few days.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have placed SP Eric Milton (back) on the 15-day disabled list, due to a thoracic back injury, according to Ken Gurnick of MLB.com. It is the same injury that sidelined him last month. The move is retroactive to Sunday, June 28.
