Arizona Diamondbacks SP Ian Kennedy has gone 10-0 with a 2.27 ERA in his last 14 starts at Chase Field. The 10-game home winning streak is the third longest is club history behind Randy Johnson (13) and Brian Anderson (11).

Diamondbacks | R. Johnson may return in service capacity

The Associated Press reports former Arizona Diamondbacks SP Randy Johnson, who just announced his retirement Tuesday, Jan. 5, has a one-year services contract with the Arizona Diamondbacks. It is not known whether he will use that contract year in 2010.

His agent, Alan Nero, expects to know Johnson's decision in the coming weeks. Johnson is about to begin working out in the offseason.

Ken Rosenthal and Jon Paul Morosi, of FOXSports.com, report free-agent SP Randy Johnson (Giants) is still undecided if he will pitch in 2010, according to his agent, Barry Meister. "We talked about whether he wants to play or not," Meister said. "He's still in the process of evaluating all of his options and thinking through it." Johnson has not set a timetable for his decision.
