San Francisco Giants SP Tim Hudson (hip) is receiving treatment on his right hip, an injury that bugged him earlier this year. He'll throw a side session Tuesday, Sept. 16, and he remains on track to start against the San Diego Padres Friday, Sept. 19.

San Francisco Giants SP Tim Hudson tossed seven innings in beating the Washington Nationals Thursday, June 12, to lower his major league-leading ERA to 1.81. Hudson (7-2) gave up just an unearned run and six hits while walking two and striking out five. He is 3-0 in his last five starts.

San Francisco Giants SP Tim Hudson (ankle) didn't wear a brace on his ankle while throwing live batting practice Friday, Feb. 21, and came away from the session encouraged about his surgically repaired ankle. However, he has yet to take part in any fielding drills. "I'm on my way," he said. "I'm a little further behind than I normally am from a body standpoint. Then again, I've never been this old before, either."
