A source claims that the Minnesota Twins are not optimistic about bringing back free-agent OF/DH Jason Kubel (Twins) unless his asking price comes down. The team is reportedly focused on looking to add at least one free-agent starting pitcher from a group that could include Jeff Francis (Royals), Joel Pineiro (Angels) and Jon Garland (Dodgers), if he can prove that he is healthy.
