Former MLB P Kevin Brown has been named in the Mitchell Report. Personal trainer and former employee of the New York Mets Kirk Radomski sold Brown human growth hormone after he was injured in 2001. Radomski said he sold Brown performance enhancing substances five or six times over the next two or three years.

The Associated Press reports a neighbor accused former All-Star pitcher Kevin Brown of pulling a pistol during a dispute over yard debris. Michael Haws, whose property backs up to Brown's multimillion-dollar estate, called Bibb County sheriff's deputies in Macon, Ga., after an argument. He said it began when he found Brown throwing grass clippings over the fence into Haws' yard. Haws told deputies that Brown pulled a gun and warned him against coming onto Brown's property, but did not point the gun at him.

Sports Network reports New York Yankees SP Kevin Brown has decided to retire, according to an article in The New York Times published Sunday, Feb. 19. "He decided after the painful process last year he was not going to play," said Brown's agent, Scott Boras. "His arm is still remarkably good, but it's about his back." Brown has a career 211-144 mark with a 3.28 ERA in 486 games (476 starts).

According to the team, Brown has a lumbar strain. At this point in time, it is unknown whether or not Brown will return this season.
