The New York Mets have cut six players from their roster, according to USA TODAY. The Mets released IF Jose Valentin, IF Junior Spivey and P Tony Armas Jr. OF Bobby Kielty and P Elmer Dessens were sent to their minor league camp and P Fernando Nieve was waived.
