The Milwaukee Brewers named three new coaches Monday, Nov. 15, according to The Associated Press. Jerry Narron will take over as the new bench coach, former Baltimore Orioles pitching coach Rick Kranitz will serve as the pitching coach and Garth Iorg will be the new first base and infield coach.

Anthony Andro, of the Star-Telegram, reports the Texas Rangers have hired Jerry Narron to serve as a consultant. Narron's role has yet to be defined but it is assumed he will assist the Rangers with scouting.

The Dayton Daily News' Hal McCoy reports Cincinnati Reds manager Jerry Narron realizes multiple trades may be imminent as the team's last-place status sinks in and the deadline approaches. "What has frustrated me is that we're so close to being a competitive team," Narron said. "To lose so many close games at the end, it just takes its toll. It's a shame. It all comes back to pitching."

John Erardi reports for the The Cincinnati Enquirer that Cincinnati Reds P Homer Bailey is expected to stay with the team long-term after he does make his first career start Friday, June 8. Manager Jerry Narron said that this will not be a situation where Bailey will make one start then be sent back down. Bailey expects to be an important part of the team if they do make a playoff run and said, "I think, in their mind, it's 'Let's get him up here now just in case (we make a run) ... let him make his adjustments now, and if we need him later on in the season, he's already got his feet wet.'"

The Associated Press reports Cincinnati Reds manager Jerry Narron was ejected only six pitches into the Reds' game Wednesday, May 30, against the Houston Astros. Narron was ejected for arguing a called strike on Reds SS Alex Gonzalez and was ejected by umpire Bill Welke.
