The Associated Press reports former NFL QB Josh Booty was subdued by a sheriff deputy with a taser gun and suffered a black eye Wednesday, Feb. 13, after being arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. During the booking process, Booty became belligerent and deputies used the taser, according to Lt. Hal Brotheim. Booty is the older brother of Southern California QB John David Booty.

Mary Kay Cabot, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports now that Cleveland Browns QB Kelly Holcomb (leg) has suffered a hairline fracture of his right fibula, the small bone in the lower leg, the Browns will most likely sign a third quarterback to their roster this week. The Browns could re-sign QB Josh Booty, who was waived last week. Booty is still available, although he's had interest from one other team.

Booty left the game with a bloody right hand after he was knocked to the ground on his third play by Packers DT Steve Warren.
