Patrick McManamon reports for the Beacon Journal, citing the Sporting News, the Cleveland Browns reportedly had to cut LB Barry Minter because the New York Jets were attempting to sign LB Anthony Denman off the Browns practice squad. The Browns did not want to lose Denman so they cut Minter to free a spot on the regular roster for Denman.
