Chris Brown, of BuffaloBills.com, reports Buffalo Bills DE Chris Kelsay has played sparingly at right defensive end in his time in Buffalo, but he took some reps on that side of the formation Wednesday, May 31. He is taking reps with the second-team defense while DE Mark Word is taking second-team reps at left defensive end.

Chris Brown, of BuffaloBills.com, reports Buffalo Bills DL Mark Word is currently 280 pounds, but is still looking to lose more weight. Word said, "I'd like to lose another 10, 15 or 20 pounds to get me down to the perfect size. That would let me show how good a player I am and I won't be subject to fatigue with the extra weight on my frame." Word has been getting reps at right defensive end with the second string defense.

Chris Brown, of BuffaloBills.com, reports Buffalo Bills DL Mark Word, signed to a contract Jan. 19, is in line to compete for one of the team's remaining defensive end spots. "He's got to do whatever it takes to make this team," defensive line coach Bill Kollar said of Word. "I talked to him before he even got here and explained to him what the situation is here. We obviously have a spot at defensive end available for somebody to win."
