The Star Tribune reports the Minnesota Vikings will hold a tryout for nine PKs/punters next Monday. They are: Leo Arguz, Rick Barrow, Ryan Denton, Brent Gordon, Jon Hilbert, Don Icsman, Cedric Oglesby, Matt Simonton and Tom Tupa. Free agent PK Gary Anderson, whom coach Mike Tice said the Vikings are attempting to re-sign, is scheduled to attend but will not kick. He will help evaluate the other kickers.

According to the Arizona Cardinals official website, newly signed kicker Cedric Oglesby practiced for the first time on Wednesday. Head coach Dave McGinnis said he made some and missed some while noting that he has a strong leg. "He'll be fine," McGinnis said.

According to the Associated Press, the Arizona Cardinals have signed free agent PK Cedric Oglesby. They placed PK Bill Gramatica (knee) on injured reserve. Oglesby and Vitaly Pisetsky competed for the job earlier today with Oglesby winning. Oglesby will see his first NFL action Sunday when the Cowboys visit the Cardinals.

Cardinals | Gramatica Has Torn ACL

AZCardinals.com reports Arizona Cardinals K Bill Gramatica underwent a MRI and has been diagnosed with an ACL tear in his right knee. Gramatica will require surgery and will probably be placed on injured reserve. The Cardinals have scheduled kicking tryouts for Cedric Oglesby and Vitaly Pisetsky for Tuesday.
