Patrick McManamon reports for the Beacon Journal the Cleveland Browns have placed CB Corey Fuller, OT Roman Oben, G Jeremy McKinney, CB Lamar Chapman and LB/special teamer Brant Boyer on their expansion list. Fuller was not very pleased. He summed up his feelings with a question: "How do I wind up on an expansion list?" The Browns hope that the Texans will not take Fuller because of his age (31) and $3.8 million salary.

The Associated Press reports former Cleveland Browns H-back Mike Sellers and injured CB Lamar Chapman were indicted Thursday on felony drug charges. The indictment charges Chapman and Sellers with possession of cocaine and "criminal tools" - money and cellular phones. If convicted of all charges, the two could face a maximum of three years in jail.

Updating an earlier story, Len Pasquarelli reports for ESPN.com Cleveland Browns coach Butch Davis suspended CB Lamar Chapman, even though he is on injured reserve, in addition to the previously reported DT Gerard Warren and FB Mike Sellers. Each will lose one game's paycheck. Based on their 2001 salaries, it will cost Sellers $26,470, Warren $12,352 and Chapman $9,529. While Davis did not say it, a team official acknowledged further discipline could be taken by the team if subsequent events in the cases warrant it.

The Associated Press reports Cleveland Browns players Mike Sellers and Lamar Chapman pleaded innocent Wednesday to the felony charges and several misdemeanors, including use of a vehicle to solicit drugs, drug abuse of marijuana and not wearing seat belts. Both were charged with felony drug abuse of cocaine.

Updating an earlier story, the Associated Press reports Cleveland Browns H-Back Mike Sellers was charged Tuesday with felony drug possession. Sellers was speeding and swerving in his pickup truck when police pulled him over Monday night. Sellers and teammate, DB Lamar Chapman also face misdemeanor charges of using a vehicle to solicit drugs. Chapman was not charged with the felony, but a police spokesperson said other charges are possible against both players. Sellers is to appear in court Wednesday morning where bail has been set at $1,000. No bond has been set for Chapman. The Browns said they were investigating the arrests.

Associated Press reports Cleveland Browns FB Mike Sellers and CB Lamar Chapman were arrested on Monday night after being caught with two bags of marijuana during a traffic stop. Police also found a dollar bill containing a white powder suspected of being cocaine inside the police car after the two were taken to the police station. Both were being held on Tuesday and police said numerous charges were pending against both players; including hitting Sellers with a DUI. The Browns didn't comment on the situation.

The Plain Dealer reports Cleveland Browns WR Kevin Johnson is expected to return punts until WR Dennis Northcutt is healthy again. Why the switch? Lamar Chapman, who had been returning punts in Northcutt's absence, is out for the season and on IR as of yesterday.
