NFL | Warrick hopes for another shot in the league
Mon, 22 Jun 2009 14:03:19 -0700 David Haugh, of the Chicago Tribune, reports former NFL WR Peter Warrick, who currently plays for the Bloomington Extreme of the Indoor Football League, said he hopes his performance with the team gives him the opportunity to play in the NFL again. "I just need an opportunity to peek my head in the door with a team. Once I peek my head in the door, I'm going to be able to stay. That's just how I feel," Warrick said. One league source believes Warrick would not be able to pass a physical because of a previous quadriceps injury.
