The Washington Post reports the Washington Redskins, despite earlier reports, have not quite finalized a deal with free agent S Cory Hall (Falcons). League sources said a deal has not been finalized, but that Hall will be at Redskins' Park Tuesday, May 24 for a workout and physical, which likely will result in an agreement

Nick Eatman, of DallasCowboys.com, reports the Dallas Cowboys have indicated they will remain status quo at the free safety position despite having free agent safeties Cory Hall (Falcons) and Damien Robinson (Seahawks) in for visits recently. "Not based on what's out there," owner Jerry Jones said of signing a veteran safety, "unless something comes up off another roster."

Nick Eatman, of DallasCowboys.com, reports the Dallas Cowboys have decided not of offer a contract to free agent S Cory Hall (Falcons) after his visit Thursday, May 12. The Cowboys remain interested and they will keep him mind as the offseason progresses. Head coach Bill Parcells wants to further evaluate his current safety candidates before signing anyone else.
