The Cincinnati Enquirer reports Cincinnati Bengals C Rich Braham (neck) made it through Sunday's game without incident. He said after the game he felt "99 percent" better than last week at San Diego. Braham played all 55 offensive snaps. LB Adrian Ross (strained right quad), who missed today's second half, is questionable for next week's game. LB Riall Johnson is probable for next week with a rib injury. Starting DT Tony Williams was taken for X-rays on his sprained foot in the first half but returned to the game. He is probable for Cleveland next week. S Darryl Williams is probable for next week with a foot injury.

CB Rodney Heath (knee) and LB Canute Curtis (calf) practiced Thursday and are expected to be fine to play this Sunday. The Sporting News reports FS Darryl Williams (foot) is questionable and if he can't go, look for Mark Roman to be featured more. C Brock Gutierrez (back) has a bruised lower back and did not practice Wednesday. LB Rial Johnson (ribs) has bruised ribs and is doubtful and will be replaced by backups Adrian Ross and Canute Curtis if he can't go.

He confirmed the extension Wednesday night while also confirming he'll play Thursday even though he's questionable with an ankle sprain. NFL sources said Ross got $900,000 to sign a deal that runs through 2004 for a total of $4.3 million.

Although he has drawn interest on the open market, no one has signed him to an offer sheet. He's already been tendered a contract worth $512,000 by the Bengals. "Right now," Ross said, "I'm planning on being back at mini-camp." QB Akili Smith's DUI trial in San Diego Superior Court was scheduled to begin later today. He will enter a plea of not guilty.

The team isn't giving up though, as they plan to continue negotiations with him. The Bengals now have a right to match any offer given them and receive a draft pick in the round they were drafted in the NFL Draft as compensation if they don't match the offer. Hawkins would bring a second round pick, but Ross was undrafted and would garner no compensation.
