While the starters have left both games trailing and have been outscored 27-17, the reserves have blanked both the Buffalo Bills and the Indianapolis Colts, outscored them 29-0, and have lead the team to two preseason wins. “It’s good, because when your starters do need a breather you can put your second team in and the guys coming in don’t slack off,” said DT Glen Steele.

Rookie TE Sean Brewer (grade one concussion) is day-to-day. LG Matt O’Dwyer (ankle) is also day-to-day. He missed Monday's practice, but the ankle is not said to be seriously injured.
