Saints | New Orleans running backs tearing it up

Tue, 14 Nov 2017 19:19:38 -0800

New Orleans RBs Mark Ingram (569) and Alvin Kamara (560) rank second and third, respectively, in the league in yards from scrimmage in the five games since Adrian Peterson was traded to the Arizona Cardinals.

Fantasy Tip: Furthermore, Ingram's 502 rushing yards ranks first in the league, while his seven rushing touchdowns over the last five weeks are more than two times as many as any other back in the NFL not named Ezekiel Elliott (five). Kamara (three) is tied with the likes of Todd Gurley for third place. Over that same time, the rookie trails only Chris Thompson for the most receiving yards by a running back (226).

Saints | Alvin Kamara posts 106 yards, TD

Sun, 12 Nov 2017 16:18:50 -0800

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara rushed 12 times for 106 yards and a touchdown in Week 10 against the Buffalo Bills and he added five receptions for 32 yards on his five targets.

Fantasy Tip: Kamara has had a pair of giant performances over the past two outings, but Mark Ingram still went for 131 yards and three touchdowns in this one. As long as Ingram is healthy, Kamara's ceiling is slightly limited. Still, both have emerged must-start fantasy options heading into Week 11 against the Redskins, although you can expect a backslide. It's inevitable.

Fantasy Tip: Kamara has blossomed since Adrian Peterson was traded, and he has become a must-start option in all formats with RB1 upside in PPR leagues.

Saints | Alvin Kamara doing it all

Tue, 07 Nov 2017 13:49:24 -0800

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara is one of three players in the NFL this year with at least 300 rushing yards, 300 receiving yards and five total touchdowns.

Fantasy Tip: The Saints' backfield as a whole, sans Adrian Peterson, has been fire this year. Surprisingly, Kamara has been more valuable than Mark Ingram in both PPR and standard leagues. The rookie has reached must-start status with extra value in those PPR formats.

Saints | Alvin Kamara efficient

Mon, 06 Nov 2017 08:31:14 -0800

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara leads the NFL (among qualified players) with 6.0 yards per rush.

Fantasy Tip: Kamara is still second fiddle to Mark Ingram, but both should remain heavily utilized. Kamara has emerged as a low-end RB2 in PPR leagues.

Saints | Alvin Kamara totals 152 yards, two TDs

Sun, 05 Nov 2017 17:05:36 -0800

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara rushed 10 times for 68 yards and a touchdown in Week 9 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and he added six grabs for 84 yards and a score on seven targets.

Fantasy Tip: The highlight of the day was a 33-yard reception that went for score, aided by poor tackling on the part of the Bucs. Despite the fact he outshined Mark Ingram, he is still the No. 2 back. As such, he remains more of a low-end RB2 or flex fantasy play going forward.

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara rushed for 28 yards and one touchdown on eight carries against the Chicago Bears in Week 8. He also caught three passes for 48 yards during the game.

Fantasy Tip: Kamara has been productive in the running and passing game during his rookie season and will continue to have a similar role moving forward. He should be considered a No. 2 running back in point-per-reception leagues and a weekly flex option in standard leagues.

Saints | Alvin Kamara post 87 total yards

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 18:02:19 -0700

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara rushed 10 times for 75 yards in Week 6 against the Detroit Lions and he added four grabs for 12 yards on four targets.

Fantasy Tip: Kamara looked energized in the win, as he now doesn't have a future Hall of Famer in Adrian Peterson breathing down his neck. He is a solid RB3 or flex play, especially in PPR formats, and the clear-cut handcuff to Mark Ingram going forward.
