Titans | Corey Davis out for Week 3

Wed, 20 Sep 2017 15:38:28 -0700

Tennessee Titans WR Corey Davis (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday, Sept. 20, and he has already been ruled out for the Week 3 game against the Seattle Seahawks.

Fantasy Tip: The rookie posted seven grabs for 69 yards on an impressive 10 targets in Week 1, but he managed just one grab for four yards before leaving early. He was originally injured in early August and aggravated the injury in Week 2. The rookie out of Western Michigan has a ton of upside, but obviously reserve him in all fantasy leagues for now.

Titans | Corey Davis held at bay in victory

Sun, 17 Sep 2017 17:33:26 -0700

Tennessee Titans WR Corey Davis managed just one catch for four yards on three targets in Week 2 at Jacksonville.

Fantasy Tip: Davis posted six grabs for 69 yards in the opener, but it was a disastrous outing for the rookie out of Western Michigan in his first NFL road contest. He has plenty of upside, but do not depend on him as anything more than a low-end WR4 or WR5 heading into Week 3 against the Seahawks.

Titans | Corey Davis has solid NFL debut

Sun, 10 Sep 2017 14:56:38 -0700

Tennessee Titans WR Corey Davis caught six passes for 69 yards against the Oakland Raiders in Week 1.

Fantasy Tip: Davis played well in his first NFL game and should have a chance to become the No. 2 receiver for the Titans at some point this season. He can be at least a flex option next week even though he will be facing a solid Jacksonville Jaguars defense.

Titans | No snap count for Corey Davis

Mon, 04 Sep 2017 11:57:11 -0700

Tennessee Titans rookie WR Corey Davis (hamstring) will not be on a snap count in Week 1, but he will be used in specific situations, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Fantasy Tip: It might be best to take a wait-and-see approach with Davis as he enters his first professional football game. He's coming off a nagging hamstring injury and there are plenty of mouths to feed in Tennessee.

Titans | Corey Davis expected to play Week 1

Thu, 31 Aug 2017 20:37:30 -0700

Tennessee Titans WR Corey Davis (hamstring) will be ready to go for the team's Week 1 regular season opener Sunday, Sept. 10, against the Oakland Raiders, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Fantasy Tip: Davis barely practiced in August and didn't play in any preseason games but the No. 5 overall draft pick's talent is too glaring to simply ignore. While the Titans possess solid depth within their receiving core, Davis does have WR3/FLEX potential if he's put in a position to succeed. However, it might take him a little while to settle in.

Titans | Corey Davis also at practice

Tue, 29 Aug 2017 13:47:16 -0700

Tennessee Titans WR Corey Davis (hamstring) returned to practice Tuesday, Aug. 29. As reported earlier, he has a chance to play in the Titans' final preseason game this week.

Fantasy Tip: There is many a mouth to feed in Tennessee, but Davis's mouth is the most promising. He'll need to put this injury behind him and stay on the field, but he has WR3 upside in his inaugural NFL season.

Titans | Corey Davis may play this week

Mon, 28 Aug 2017 16:24:04 -0700

Tennessee Titans WR Corey Davis (hamstring) has a chance to play in the final preseason game but a final decision has not been made, according to head coach Mike Mularkey.

Fantasy Tip: Davis has missed most of the preseason because of the injury but he has a good chance of playing Week 1 unless he has a setback. Davis may be eased into the offense early in the season but should see a solid amount of targets during his rookie season. He should be considered a No. 4 or No. 5 receiver at this point.
