He could be signed as the team's new long-snapper, if they don't feel TE John Allred can get the job done. As noted earlier, current LS Mike Schneck could miss up to six weeks of action. The team also took a look earlier this week at LS/TE Mike Leach and LS/DT Randy Chevrier.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports Cincinnati Bengals WR Danny Farmer may not be able to play tomorrow due to an ankle injury he suffered Wednesday. Long snapper Randy Chevrier will be the long snapper on special teams. “He has snapped in the NFL. We like that,” coach Dick LeBeau said of Chevrier. “He's got the most velocity. We like that.”

Geoff Hobson reports for Bengals.com the team had a rough day at practice earlier today. Reserve WR Danny Farmer (sprained ankle) is now doubtful for Sunday's game. Starting SS JoJuan Armour sprained his left ankle and he is probable. TE/long snapper Brad St. Louis re-aggravated his left groin and he is now questionable for Sunday. Trainer Paul Sparling said St. Louis would undergo "a precautionary MRI." TE Kirk McMullen may take his place if he is out. Another option if St. Louis can't go is long snapper Randy Chevrier, signed to the practice squad Tuesday.
