Texans | D'Onta Foreman injures Achilles'

Sun, 19 Nov 2017 13:56:50 -0800

Houston Texans RB D'Onta Foreman (Achilles') is believed to have torn his Achilles' tendon on his game-winning touchdown run in Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals, sources said Sunday, Nov. 19.

Fantasy Tip: It's a rough season for injuries in Houston. Even when something good happens, something bad happens on the same play. With Foreman done it appears Lamar Miller has the backfield work all too himself.

Texans | D'Onta Foreman back as No. 2 tailback

Sun, 05 Nov 2017 15:21:54 -0800

Houston Texans RB D'Onta Foreman rushed 11 times for 37 yards in Week 9 against the Indianapolis Colts.

Fantasy Tip: Foreman was the No. 3 tailback in Week 8 in Seattle and didn't sniff the field, as Alfred Blue was used ahead of him. The rookie was back and actually had more rushes than Miller, who was limited in practice earlier in the week due to a knee.

Texans | D'Onta Foreman hoping for touches

Sat, 04 Nov 2017 18:50:51 -0700

Houston Texans RB D'Onta Foreman received zero carries against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 8, but he said he is hoping to have a bigger role in the offense against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 9.

Fantasy Tip: With Tom Savage back under center, Foreman could go back to the 8-10 touches he was receiving early in the year. That being said, he remains a handcuff for Lamar Miller rather than a potential fantasy starter.

Texans | D'Onta Foreman leads the way

Sun, 15 Oct 2017 14:44:38 -0700

Houston Texans RB D'Onta Foreman rushed 12 times for a team-high 59 yards in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns.

Fantasy Tip: Foreman is normally the hammer and complement to the more elusive Lamar Miller, but he averaged 4.9 yards per carry to Miller's 2.7 in this one, so he was featured more. Foreman also saw more work in the second half with the game out of hand, too. He is expected to remain second fiddle to Miller, but we'll have to wait until Week 8 to see how the situation continues to unfold, as the Texans have a bye next week.

Texans | D'Onta Foreman practices in full

Fri, 13 Oct 2017 15:25:00 -0700

Houston Texans RB D'Onta Foreman (hip) was able to practice in full Friday, Oct. 13, and he was lifted from the injury report before the Week 6 game with the Cleveland Browns.

Fantasy Tip: Foreman had been getting about 10-12 touches per game as the team's hammer, but he was limited to just five total touches in Week 5 after a costly lost fumble. He'll be looking to atone for his mistake in Week 6, but he really only has value in deeper fantasy leagues as a RB3 or flex play.

Texans | D'Onta Foreman limited Thursday

Thu, 12 Oct 2017 13:45:05 -0700

Houston Texans RB D'Onta Foreman (hip) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 12.

Fantasy Tip: Foreman has been receiving limited touches each game and has not rushed for more than 45 yards in any game this season. He probably will receive a similar role in Week 6 and can be avoided in most leagues.

Texans | D'Onta Foreman listed as limited

Wed, 11 Oct 2017 13:56:55 -0700

Houston Texans RB D'Onta Foreman (hip) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Oct. 11.

Fantasy Tip: Foreman saw his touches rise to 13 in Week 4 against the Titans, after 10 touches the week before against the Patriots and 12 touches in Week 2 against the Bengals. However, Foreman had a costly fumble against the Chiefs last Sunday resulting in just five total touches. He still has plenty of upside, and is a load at 6'0 and 235 pounds. However, as long as Lamar Miller remains healthy Foreman's fantasy appeal is rather limited.
