Bengals | John Ross injured at practice

Thu, 21 Sep 2017 23:28:27 -0700

Cincinnati Bengals WR John Ross (knee) "tweaked" his knee during the team's practice Thursday, Sept. 21, and he'll likely require an MRI.

Fantasy Tip: Ross, who missed Week 1 with a knee injury and sat out Wednesday's practice due to illness, apparently walked off under his own power without a noticeable limp. Ross had "lottery ticket" potential given Green Bay's secondary troubles in Atlanta, but this certainly throws his Week 3 status into serious doubt.

Bengals | John Ross has inauspicious debut

Thu, 14 Sep 2017 21:59:24 -0700

Cincinnati Bengals WR John Ross (knee) had one carry for 12 yards against the Houston Texans on Thursday, Sept. 14. He was not targeted as a receiver and fumbled his lone carry, which was recovered by Houston.

Fantasy Tip: It was surprising that Ross was active, but any plans to use him apparently went up in smoke when he put the ball on the ground on his first official NFL touch. While brighter days are certainly ahead there's no pressing reason to get Ross in your lineup.

Bengals | John Ross active for Week 2

Thu, 14 Sep 2017 16:28:02 -0700

Cincinnati Bengals WR John Ross (knee) is officially active for the team's Week 2 game.

Fantasy Tip: Ross will be making his NFL debut against the Houston Texans and could see more time than expected with Tyler Boyd sidelined. He probably will be used as a deep threat and slot receiver which makes him a possible flex option in deeper leagues because of his touchdown potential.
