Lions | Offensive line problems for Lions?

Fri, 22 Sep 2017 16:37:45 -0700

Detroit Lions C Travis Swanson (ankle) is listed as questionable for the Week 3 game and still has a chance to play, but OG Graham Glasgow likely would move to center if Swanson is ruled out. OG Joe Dahl (leg) could move to left guard to replace Glasgow, but he is also listed as questionable for the game.

Fantasy Tip: Detroit's offensive line problems probably would affect their offensive scheme against the Atlanta Falcons. Matt Stafford may be asked to throw more short passes so he can avoid the pass rush. Ameer Abdullah and Theo Riddick could also be more involved in the passing game since the Falcons have struggled against pass-catching backs. Stafford can still be considered a No. 1 fantasy quarterback in most leagues, while Abdullah and Riddick would have more value in point-per-receptions leagues.
