Browns | Ricardo Louis finishes with 42 yards

Sun, 29 Oct 2017 10:19:03 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Ricardo Louis caught two passes for 42 yards against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8.

Fantasy Tip: Louis has been targeted at least six times in five of the last six games but has been held to eight catches in the last three games combined. He appears to be the top receiver for the Browns at this point but can be avoided in most fantasy leagues.

Browns | Ricardo Louis records 71 yards

Sun, 08 Oct 2017 13:54:31 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Ricardo Louis caught five passes for 71 yards against the New York Jets in Week 5.

Fantasy Tip: Louis has played well in consecutive games and is receiving a bigger role in the passing game. He has been targeted 23 times in the last three games and is productive no matter the quarterback. Owners in deeper leagues could consider adding Louis if he is available, but he should not be a starting option next week.

Browns | Ricardo Louis catches five passes

Sun, 01 Oct 2017 13:54:11 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Ricardo Louis caught five passes for 64 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 4.

Fantasy Tip: Louis has been targeted 15 times over the last two games and could receive a solid role in the passing game in upcoming games. The Browns' passing game has not been very consistent this season, which makes Louis a risky option for owners.

Browns | Ricardo Louis primed for bigger role

Tue, 19 Sep 2017 10:07:49 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Ricardo Louis "figures to move in the pecking order" following the Week 2 injury to Corey Coleman, according to ESPN's Pat McManamon, who adds he expects Rashard Higgins to remain the team's slot receiver.

Fantasy Tip: Higgins led all Cleveland receivers in Week 2 with 54 snaps - Louis had 32 - so it would seem the former will play a more important role moving forward regardless of whether or not McManamon is suggesting Louis could start opposite Kenny Britt. As his seven-catch, 95-yard effort in Week 2 will attest, Higgins is the superior add in fantasy leagues this week.

Browns | Ricardo Louis continues to draw praise

Sat, 08 Jul 2017 08:49:29 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Ricardo Louis has "really helped himself" and "is a talented young man," according to senior offensive assistant Al Saunders.

Fantasy Tip: Head coach Hue Jackson was similarly impressed throughout the spring, and so it would be surprising at this point if Louis isn't the No. 3 receiver in Cleveland behind Corey Coleman and Kenny Britt when the season begins. He's off the radar in fantasy, however.

Browns | Ricardo Louis to train with Brandon Marshall

Fri, 16 Jun 2017 09:26:22 -0700

Cleveland Browns WR Ricardo Louis expects to spend some of his down time this summer working out with New York Giants WR Brandon Marshall. He also hopes to pick the brains of Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown and retired receiver Andre Johnson - each of whom is a Miami native like he is.

Fantasy Tip: Louis appears to be the early favorite for third receiver duties in Cleveland behind Kenny Britt and Corey Coleman. Obviously, any advice the second-year wideout can use from three high-level veteran receivers should help him secure a regular role in the Browns' offense as well as possibly push for a starting job. However, he can be left undrafted in all but the deepest of leagues.
