Jets | Robby Anderson to have charge dismissed

Wed, 16 May 2018 23:13:56 -0700

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson will have a felony charge for resisting arrest with violence dismissed on Thursday, May 17, according to Anderson's attorney. This was the last of four felony charges remaining, and Anderson now faces only a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving from that arrest.

Fantasy Tip: This is good news for Anderson, whose career appeared to be in serious jeopardy following the 2017 arrest. He could still be suspended, but Anderson is now likely to stick with the Jets and could be a legitimate No. 3 fantasy receiver this year.

Jets | Arrest warrant for Robby Anderson

Wed, 02 May 2018 23:49:38 -0700

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson failed to appear at an arraignment on a previous reckless-driving charge Wednesday, May 2, and a warrant for his arrest was subsequently issued.

Fantasy Tip: Anderson's attorney claimed the incident was due to a "clerical error," and that they'll straighten it out on Thursday, but this is a bad look for Anderson, who had a bevy of charges dismissed and then still failed to show up for the arraignment. The Jets have balked at releasing him, but you have to believe a suspension is in Anderson's future at the very least. All that being said, if the Jets keep him Anderson could warrant a late-round stash.

Jets | Robby Anderson not done with Jets

Thu, 08 Feb 2018 09:22:39 -0800

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson will not be released despite his off-field issues, which most recently consist of a recent arrest for several charges, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News. He is just 24 years old and will "only" cost $630,000 in 2018.

Fantasy Tip: Anderson's talent is evident, but his off-field struggles and injury history make him a big risk, both in real life and in the fantasy world. Assuming he remains New York's No. 1 wide receiver, can stay healthy and stay out of more trouble, he's worth a late-round flier in 2018.

Jets | Robby Anderson arrested

Fri, 19 Jan 2018 13:49:40 -0800

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson was arrested in Florida Friday, Jan. 19, and is facing nine charges including reckless driving, eluding police, resisting arrest and harm to a public servant or family member.

Fantasy Tip: Anderson likely will be facing a suspension from the NFL since he has been arrested twice in the last eight months. It is not known if he will stay with the Jets, so owners should monitor the situation. He played well this season but will be a risky option for owners next season because of the possible suspension.

Jets | Robby Anderson is good to go

Fri, 29 Dec 2017 15:15:16 -0800

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (illness) practiced in full on Friday, Dec. 29, and he has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 17 game with the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Tip: Anderson is working with Bryce Petty now, instead of Josh McCown, so that hurts his fantasy appeal somewhat. But he'll end the regular season as a decent WR3 or flex fantasy option.
