Jets | Robby Anderson shut down

Sun, 10 Dec 2017 19:29:50 -0800

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson caught three passes on six targets for 27 yards in a 23-0 loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 14.

Fantasy Tip: It was a terrible offensive showing for the Jets, and Anderson's pitiful outing was actually enough to lead the team in receiving. To make matters worse, Josh McCown suffered a broken hand, and Anderson's value likely plummets if McCown misses time.

Jets | Robby Anderson off injury report

Fri, 08 Dec 2017 15:38:23 -0800

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (hamstring) practiced fully Friday, Dec. 8, and he has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 14 game against the Denver Broncos.

Fantasy Tip: Anderson has emerged as a must-start fantasy option this season, even when facing a solid Broncos pass defense. Denver has allowed just 203.6 yards per game through the air, fourth in the NFL, but they have also yielded 26 passing touchdowns which is most in the NFL.

RB Matt Forte (knee) did not practice, either, and he is listed as questionable, while LB Demario Davis (non-injury related) did not practice and is off the report. OG Brian Winters (abdomen, ankle) practiced on a limited basis and is listed as questionable. WR Robby Anderson (hamstring), S Terrence Brooks (non-injury related), CB Juston Burris (knee), OG James Carpenter (knee), DL Xavier Cooper (knee), WR Jermaine Kearse (shoulder) and RB Bilal Powell (hamstring) each practiced in full and have been removed from the injury report.

Jets | Robby Anderson practices in full Friday

Fri, 08 Dec 2017 10:03:55 -0800

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (hamstring) was a full participant in practice Friday, Dec. 8, and will suit up in Week 14 against the Denver Broncos.

Fantasy Tip: The New York Daily News' Manish Mehta reports Anderson's hamstring issue was never anything serious, but it doesn't change the fact he has a difficult matchup awaiting him. Anderson is on quite a roll with at least 100 yards receiving and/or a touchdown in five straight games, but that should come to an end versus Denver. Given the Broncos' inability to defend tight ends for most of the season, Austin Seferian-Jenkins figures to be the busiest Jet pass-catcher this weekend.

Jets | Robby Anderson should be fine

Thu, 07 Dec 2017 12:30:09 -0800

Updating a previous report, New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (hamstring) should be OK to play this week despite aggravating a hamstring injury in practice Thursday, Dec. 7, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: Crisis averted. Anderson can remain in starting lineups, even against Aqib Talib, assuming he doesn't have any setbacks between now and Sunday.

Jets | Robby Anderson hurts hamstring

Thu, 07 Dec 2017 10:57:48 -0800

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (hamstring) injured his hamstring Thursday, Dec. 7, and was limited in practice.

Fantasy Tip: It's never good when a player suffers an injury late in the week, but at least Anderson was able to practice on a limited basis instead of completely missing practice. Obviously his status will be monitored, but Jermaine Kearse and Austin Seferian-Jenkins would benefit the most if Anderson is sidelined or limited.

Jets | Robby Anderson goes full Wednesday

Wed, 06 Dec 2017 15:44:28 -0800

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (hamstring) was able to practice in full Wednesday, Dec. 6.

Fantasy Tip: Anderson has emerged as a bona fide must-start fantasy option, which is shocking considering that before the season the Jets figure to be a fantasy wasteland.

Jets | Robby Anderson catches eight passes

Sun, 03 Dec 2017 14:52:32 -0800

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson caught eight passes for 107 yards against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 13.

Fantasy Tip: Anderson saw his touchdown streak end in Week 13 but posted at least 100 yards for the third time in the last three games. He should continue to be the main option in the Jets passing game and can be a No. 3 receiver or a flex option despite the tough matchup next week.

Jets | Robby Anderson confident

Fri, 01 Dec 2017 20:47:36 -0800

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson said he is on a "whole other level" this year compared to last season.

Fantasy Tip: Anderson has scored at least once in five straight games, and he is on pace for more than 1,000 yards. He is an upside WR3 against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 13.
