Wed, 01 Aug 2018 18:17:15 -0700

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt (hamstring) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Aug. 1.

Chiefs | Kareem Hunt continues to be limited

Sat, 28 Jul 2018 11:23:47 -0700

Thu, 14 Jun 2018 10:48:41 -0700

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt (hamstring) will be fine for the start of training camp, according to head coach Andy Reid. He has missed a large portion of the offseason program with a hamstring issue.

Fantasy Tip: The Chiefs will likely take a cautious approach with their starting running back in training camp and the preseason. There's no reason to risk aggravation with such a valuable player. Assuming he stays healthy, Hunt is a late-first to early-second round draft consideration.

Chiefs | Kareem Hunt in line for more targets?

Wed, 28 Feb 2018 20:52:22 -0800

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said at the NFL Scouting Combine on Wednesday, Feb. 28, that "we probably need to expand on" RB Kareem Hunt's role in the passing game for next season.

Fantasy Tip: Hunt is pretty much already locked in as an RB1 going into his second NFL campaign, but an increased presence in the club's air attack would only boost his stock even further. He was already a regular part of the passing game, drawing four targets per game in 2017, but it appears there's going to be even more work for the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year runner-up, who also rushed for 1,327 yards and eight scores this past year.

Chiefs | Kareem Hunt a master of elusiveness

Mon, 19 Feb 2018 20:10:10 -0800

Kansas City Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt led the NFL - among players who recorded at least 175 carries - with 4.63 yards gained after defenders closed within one yard of him in 2017, according to Next Gen Stats.

Fantasy Tip: This should come as no surprise to any of his owners, as Hunt routinely used exceptional balance and power to keep his feet after he got past the first level of defenders. Spencer Ware's return in 2018 could make a repeat of his league-leading rushing campaign unlikely, but Hunt has all the makings of being the next great Andy Reid running back.
