Dallas Cowboys DE Charles Tapper has lost nearly 20 pounds since the end of last season and is down to 11 percent body fat from 13 percent in an attempt to increase his agility. Defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli wants Tapper to shift from an interior spot on the defensive line to a spot where he lines up on the outside shoulder of the tackle.

LB Mark Nzeocha (Achilles') is listed as doubtful, while DE Jack Crawford (shoulder), OT Doug Free (quadriceps), CB Orlando Scandrick (hamstring) and OT Tyron Smith (back) are listed as questionable. Romo, Scandrick and Tapper did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 23. Nzeocha and Smith were limited during practice, while Crawford and Free fully participated in practice.
