Dolphins | Kenyan Drake injured

Mon, 14 Aug 2017 09:05:18 -0700

Miami Dolphins RB Kenyan Drake (head) suffered an apparent head injury in practice Monday, Aug. 14.

Fantasy Tip: Drake may have had some RB5 luster because starter Jay Ajayi (concussion) has been concussed. Drake is more of a handcuff than one with true RB5 stature.

Dolphins | Adam Gase wants more Kenyan Drake

Thu, 02 Mar 2017 16:18:41 -0800

Miami Dolphins RB Kenyan Drake is "a guy that we're looking to lean on a little bit more next year," according to head coach Adam Gase, citing that Drake did "a great job when we got him in the game."

Fantasy Tip: Gase is certainly right about that last statement, as the 23-year-old fared well in limited action as a rookie, registering 33 carries for 179 rushing yards and a pair of scores. However, Jay Ajayi is firmly entrenched as the starting tailback, so it would pretty much take an injury for Drake to become relevant in any fantasy formats.

Dolphins | Returner up in the air for Miami?

Tue, 31 Jan 2017 12:18:54 -0800

Miami Dolphins RB Kenyan Drake could be an option in the return game if WR Jakeem Grant doesn't develop into a better return man, in the opinion of the South Florida Sun Sentinel's Omar Kelly. WR Jarvis Landry could see a decreased return role in order to lessen the hits he takes.

Dolphins | Kenyan Drake picks up rushing TD

Sat, 24 Dec 2016 14:35:27 -0800

Miami Dolphins RB Kenyan Drake rushed 56 yards and one touchdown on four carries against the Buffalo Bills in Week 16.

Fantasy Tip: Drake picked up only his second touchdown on the season but his 56 rushing yards were a season high for him. He will continue to see limited touches this season and probably can be avoided in most standard leagues.
